In about 15 hours and 40 minutes, from the time I’m writing this post, The Academy Awards nomination announcements will be online via live streaming on YouTube. I’ll leave the link to the live steaming video at the bottom of this post.
The video will start at 5:30am PT. Although I can’t remember the last time I saw 5:30am on my alarm clock, I’m going to get up and watch the live announcements.
Chris Pine, Alfonso Cuarón & J.J. Abrams will be some of the people announcing nominations.
Birdman, The Imitation Game, Whiplash, The Theory of Everything, Gone Girl, and Foxcatcher are looking like solid choices for both Best Picture and Best Director nominations. We’ll just have to wait and see if there are any films that sweep the nominations tomorrow.
I have a feeling Boyhood will get many nominations but not so many wins, if any. Much like what happened last year to American Hustle.
I’ll be watching tomorrow bright and early, will you?
