ShopYourWay.com is now offering free two-day shipping on a large number of products from Kmart and Sears.
And just in time for Black Friday too!
However, this new “free” shipping option comes at a price. In order for shoppers to gain access to this deal, they will have to sign up for an account at the Sears owned ShopYourWay.com website.
What is ShopYourWay.com?
ShopYouWay.com is run by Sears Holdings, an integrated retailing company that owns a large number (over 2500) of physical and digital specialty retail stores across North America. The most popular of these stores are Sears and Kmart.
ShopYouWay.com is their way of covering their massive lineup of physical retail offerings under one, well controlled, digital roof.
The ShopYourWay website provides an easy and convenient way for Sears customers (from the US and Canada) to find and purchase the products that they want, without having to visit each website or retail outlet individually.
Sears has also released a ShopYouWay app, available for both smartphone and tablet devices, making life easier for patrons who want to shop on the go.
Free Shipping and Signing Up
Signing up at ShopYourWay.com is totally free, however, if a customer wants to take advantage of the new free shipping option, they will have to upgrade to a paid Shop Your Way MAX membership. Sucks, I know.
It is not all bad news though, as Sears is offering a free 90 day trial membership (no credit card required) to both new and existing subscribers who decide to upgrade their account.
Subscribers to this new service will benefit from offers of up to 20% off selected items (through the “shop in” feature on the mobile app), as well as free two day shipping for items purchased from Kmart or Sears. Free standard shipping is also available for the thousands of other items in the store.
After the free trial is over, shoppers who want to continue using the service will have to pay a fee of $39 a year (or slightly more than $3 a month), a pretty low fee for anyone who frequents any of the retail establishments that fall under the “Sears banner”.
