Target is holding a late-night special event and giveaway this Friday, September 4 for Star Wars fans called Force Friday.
Force Friday at Target will include the launch of over 300 new products from the upcoming Star Wars movie The Force Awakens.
Select stores will be staying open late to debut the new Star Wars products at midnight.
Shoppers who come early have a chance to win a 4-foot-tall Chewbacca as well as a “fun giveaway,” according to Target.
Target is also offering a coupon for $10 off a Star Wars purchase of $50 or more or $25 off a Star Wars purchase of $100 or more (not good on Lego or clearance items).
To get the coupons on a smartphone, text FORCE10 (for $10 off $50) or FORCE25 (for $25 off $100) to TARGET (827438).
The offer is also good online at Target.com with the promo code FORCE.
Both offers are valid from 9/4/15 through 9/12/15.
For Star Wars fans who can’t make the midnight debut of Force Friday, the Star Wars shop at Target will be holding more events on Saturday, September 5 starting at 11 am.
Events include a giveaway for kids, photo ops, and demos of the new Star Wars toys.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters Friday, December 18.
