The 3D Thrill From LG – Available This Sunday – Pricing & Details Revealed

AT&T will be adding the glasses-free 3D LG Thrill smartphone to its offerings on September 4th. The phone will sport a 4.3-inch parallax barrier LCD capacitive touchscreen capable of displaying 3D images, movies and games at 480 x 800 pixels without the need for 3D glasses. The camera will also feature dual 5 megapixel high definition cameras for 3D image and video capture at 720p HD resolution.lg 3d optimus thrill smartphone The phone has a non-3D mode as well, for viewing things in normal 2D.

The 3D LG Thrill will be powered by 1GHz dual-core, dual channel TI OMAP 4 CPU processors. It will also be capable of 4G speeds delivered by HSPA+ with enhanced backhaul. The 4G plan is available only in limited areas, although the availability will be increasing with ongoing backhaul deployment. Access to the 4G network requires a compatible data plan.

This is an Android 2.2 powered phone with access to all 150,000 plus apps in the Android market. The 3D LG Thrill includes an 8GB micro SD card for storage, and plenty of pre-installed 3D utilities to take advantage of the camera and viewing capabilities. Battery life is comparable to most other Android phones.

The reported sticker price for the AT&T LG Thrill is $99, with a two-year contract.
