The All Female Cast Of New ‘Ghostbusters’ Re-Boot

Word was out on a new Ghostbusters installment – and when it was decided that it’ll be an all female cast I’m sure Paul Feig and Sony were wondering, ‘who we gonna call?’

Well the desired cast has just been announced. The four leading ladies that are in talks with Sony for the re-boot film are: Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones.

These four comediennes have proven themselves on TV (SNL) and film.

Everyone is familiar with Melissa McCarthy’s physical humor and frank dialogue. Kristen Wiig is one of the funniest women acting and writing today – penning such screenplays like Bridesmaids. Kate McKinnon is hilarious on SNL, doing such impressions like Justin Beiber and a perfect Ellen. Leslie Jones is the least known of the bunch, and was just brought on the cast of SNL last year, but is definitely an aggressive comedian.

While these actresses are still in talks to be in the film, we’ll just have to wait for more details to come down from Hollywood for who’s in and who’s out.

The release date will be sometime in summer of 2016.

Are you looking forward to the new Ghostbusters movie? What do you think about the new cast? Let us know!
