The Voice 2013 Live Elimination Round: Who Made The Top 12?

The Voice 2013 Live Elimination Round: Who Made The Top 12?

It’s the first elimination round on NBC’s Season 5 of The Voice 2013! Who made The Top 12? Well, the two contestants with the highest number of America’s votes will instantly make the top 12. Then, the coaches will save one of their contestants to join the Top 12.

After Blake’s Team performed “Free Ride” as their group number, it was time for Host Carson Daly to announce the two contestants safe on Blake’s team by America’s votes.

America saves Austin Jenckes and Cole Vosbury.

Blake ends up saving Ray Boudreaux, so Nic Hawk and Shelbie Z are eliminated.

Aw, we are going to miss those two, but we have to agree with Blake’s choice!

Next up, Team Cee Lo performs rock classic “Give A Little Bit” followed by their results!

Carson reveals that America has saved Caroline Pennell and Johnny Gray! Moments later, Cee Lo ends up saving rocker Kat Robichaud! Thus,Tamara Chauniece and Amber Nicole are eliminated.

Following Team Cee Lo’s results, Team Christina performs Maroon 5’s “Love Somebody.”

Soon after, Carson reveals that America has saved Jacquie Lee and Matthew Schuler!

Christina then ends up saving Josh Logan! Although we were sad to see Olivia Henken and Stephanie Anne Johnson leave the show, we think Josh has massive potential!

We are now down to Team Adam! The Team performs “Safe & Sound.” It was probably one of the better group performances of the night, but let’s get down to results!

America saves James Wolpert and Tessanne Chin. Adam ends up saving Will Champlin!
WOW, we really didn’t think Adam would save him as he seemed to be a huge fan of Preston Pohl’s uniquely distinct vocal. But, we gotta say we are super happy about this decision. Will’s performance of One Reupblic’s “Secrets” was AMAZING. He definitely deserves to be in the Top 12!

Are you happy with tonight’s results?! Leave your thoughts below!
