In the past 24 hours, Amazon.com reports that the toy called Lalaloopsy Pix E Flutters, part of a line of rag dolls put out by MGA Entertainment, has moved from a sales rank of 5030 to number 6.
For those who are wondering, that is a whopping eighty-three thousand percent increase in sales!
Could it be that this little toy will be one of the top toys for this holiday season?
The line of dolls have been around since July, 2010, originally sold as Bitty Buttons. The name of the line was changed to Lalaloopsy shortly after the launch.
The dolls currently include over fifty 13-inch rag doll characters and the one called Pix E Flutters that is sold by Amazon.com and other retails features articulated head, arms, and legs, as well as shoes and clothes that can be changed.
According to MGA Entertainment, each doll character is created with a fictional theme that reflects the day she is born, the fabric she made of, and her pet.
The manufacturer goes on to say, “The Lalaloopsy dolls were once rag dolls who magically came to life when their very last stitch was sewn. Now they live in a fantastical world full of silly surprises. With your love, their magic can go on forever.”
