A new trailer for the follow up to Sin City, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For has been released this week.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will be both a prequel and sequel to 2005’s Sin City film. The film will be based on the graphic novels A Dame to Kill For and Just Another Saturday Night as well as two other original stories by creator Frank Miller.
Frank Miller will again be co-directing the film adaptation of his stories alongside Robert Rodriguez.
In addition to the return of Miller and Rodriguez directing, the film will have returning stars which include Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Powers Booth, Josh Brolin, Rosario Dawson, Mickey Rourke and Jamie King. New to the Sim City cast are Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jamie Chung, Eva Green, Ray Liotta, Lady Gaga and Juno Temple.
The trailer is short but gives us a glimpse of the unique cinematography that was so compelling in the first Sin City. We see that Eva Green will be playing the title role of the “dame”. However not too much else is revealed.
The film will be released on August 22, 2014 in both 2D and 3D.
