X-Men Director Names Evan Peters “Quicksilver”

On Thursday “X-men: Days of Future Past” Director Bryan Singer announced on Twitter that Evan Peters will join the film as Quicksilver.

Peters is most famous for his work on “American Horror Story” as Kit Walker and Tate Langdon.

The 26 year-old actor’s career began on Disney’s “Phil of the Future.” He has since made the rounds as a guest on several popular TV series including, “The Office,” “Monk” and “One Tree Hill.”

This will be Peters first major movie role since playing Todd in “Kickass” in 2010.

According to IMD, “Days of Future Past” will follow the mutant superheroes as they travel back in time to change a major historical event. Jennifer Lawerence and Peter Dinklage will also star in the upcoming film.

“X-men: Days of Future Past” is set to be released on July 18, 2014.
