Labor Day 2013 Sales – What’s Available & Where

Labor Day 2013 Sales – What’s Available & Where

We’ve already taken a look at some specific Labor Day sales for 2013.

One of those we have covered is over at Kindles that are on sale (be aware that the sales prices on the Kindles do seem to be fluctuating).

We’ve also looked at Walmart’s Labor Day sale in general.

With Labor Day bearing down on us now – let’s broaden our look and see what else is going on in the shopping world today.

Best Buy is featuring the MacBook Pro in their Labor Day sale – it’s $200 off it’s regular pricing, according to the company.

As expected, with football season starting up, Best Buy also pushing their HDTV’s. The have the Insignia 65″ Class LED 1080p 120Hz HDTV for $999 ($400 off MSRP), and the LG 55″ Class (54⅝” Diag.) LED 1080p 60Hz Smart HDTV for $750 ($100 MSRP).

One of the most impressive deals at Best Buy appears to be the Nikon – Coolpix S100 16.0-MP digital camera. It comes in a variety of colors and is on sale for $99. Best Buy lists the MSRP at $299. It can be found for a lot less than $299 online – but according to Decide.com – the $99 is a low point for the price of the camera and they don’t expect the price to drop any lower than that any time soon.

Target is pushing their baby strollers (pardon the pun) in their Labor Day sale. They are all 25% off. There are a large number of other baby related items included in the sale, plus 50% off on patio items on clearance.

Looking through their HDTV’s, quite a few are $100 to $200 off – they are listed as ‘online only’ deals though. Target also has some back-to-school items on sale… mostly backpacks for the younger kids, dorm room decor for the older ones.

JC Penney‘s Labor Day sale appears to be pretty generic, a problem they’ve been struggling with for a while now. Their site says 25% to 50% off, but it doesn’t look like they are promoting anything in particular, just everything. They also say that shoppers using a JC Penney credit card get an additional 20% off and those with other forms of payment get an additional 10% off. With all the discounts for various things on their site, it looks like everything will be pretty much free… but we suspect that’s not really the case.

Macy’s also has a very wide ranging Labor Day sale, 20% off a large inventory of things plus an extra 25% off clearance items (online only). Of note… they are currently having a special with a free 7 piece Estee Lauder Gift pack with a purchase of $35 or more of Estee Lauder products.

Newegg has some items that have been sold-out in their Labor Day sale.

The ASUS 15.6″ Notebook is one item that’s sold out, but they still have an Acer Aspire 15.6″ Notebook with Windows 8 available for $449. They also have a SIGMAC 15.3″ LED-LCD HDTV on sale for $109. Note that some of these have promo codes that have to be used at check out – they are listed below the item.

Last but not least – Crocs Labor Day sale is 20% off when two pairs of Crocs are purchased, and 30% off when three pairs are purchased. Some sites are reporting that the Crocs sale is 60% off during Labor Day, but we don’t find any indication of that on their site.
